54-31x23/14(345-235)+23
If you follow the PEMDAS rule...divison and multiplication comes second next to parenthesis.
345-235 is 110. Therefore:
54-31x23/14x110+23
Next, we have to do multiplication and division, whichever comes first. Looking at the problem, 31 times 23 is first, so 31x23 is 713.
54-713/14x110+23.
When we look at the problem, there is still a division, problem there-thus we do 713 divided by 14, equaling 50.928 (rounded to the nearest thousandth). Thus, the problem is at follows:
54-50.928x110+23
We have to do the multiplication part now.
54-5602.08+23.
Now we are left with addition and subtraction.
ANSWER: -5525.08.
